RACECAR Strategy

I am learning to use the RACECAR problem solving strategy.

I am so proud of using a new strategy for my Maths.

It can be tricky to memorise a brand new strategy that I haven’t used before.

It can be tricky to remember what each letter stands for.

My Buddy can help me by helping me to sue the strategy.

The next step for me in my learning is to use this strategy to help me to solve harder sums.

I am learning to use clues and information in the text to visualise a part of the story.

I am so proud of learning how to visualise the story in my head.

It can be tricky to draw the pictures that are in my head.

My Teacher can help me by giving my part of the story that I can visualise and write about.

The next step for me in my learning is to think about what I am going to do.

This is the Michael Morpurgo novel that I read during S.S.R.  I rated this book 9 out of 10.  I liked how the main character stood up to the bully at the end
