Live, Work and Play Safely” by Heather Hammonds

Think about an activity that you do, or a sporting activity you belong to and make a list of the rules that members need to follow.  For each rule, briefly explain why this rule has been put in place.

Rugby Union

The Rule is …..	Why this rule has been put in place…..
No HIGH Tackles	So no one is hurt or gets injured.
No Forward Passes	Because It is against the rules.
No ARGUING With The Referee	Because only the Captain can talk to the Referee.
No Shepherding	It blocks other players from tackling you.
No Distractions	Because you will get Distracted from the Game.
No Coming in from the side Ruck	Because you can get the ball easier and you can get injured.

This is an activity that me and my buddy did to show we understood the text that we read.It is about the rules of games.
